We use locally stored preferences to deliver the app experience, remember your settings, and manage Pro access status. Where rewarded ads are available, the advertising provider may process data according to its own privacy policy.

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local-Only Storage

3.2 Audio and Animation Assets

All audio files (sleep sounds) and animations (capybara graphics) are bundled directly within the app package. No network request is made to stream or download content after installation.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share locally stored app preferences with third parties. Where rewarded ads are available, ad requests and ad measurement are handled by the advertising provider under its own policies. We will never sell your information.

We may disclose information only if required by law (e.g., valid legal process), but as we hold no user data, this is practically impossible.

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Data Deletion

To delete all app data, simply uninstall Capy Timer from your device. All locally stored preferences will be permanently removed. No data exists anywhere else to delete.

7.2 Access to Your Data

You can review all stored preferences at any time via your device's app settings. On Android: Settings → Apps → Capy Timer → Clear data. On iOS: uninstalling the app removes all data.

7.3 No Opt-Out Needed

Because we do not collect any personal data or use tracking, there is nothing to opt out of.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Equivalent)

Capy Timer is not directed at children under 13. The app is a productivity and sleep-aid tool intended for users aged 13 and older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 is using the app, please contact us at capytimer.help@outlook.com and we will take appropriate action.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold. Because Capy Timer collects no personal information, we do not sell any personal data and the rights to access, delete, and opt-out of sale are automatically satisfied.

10. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

Capy Timer does not process personal data of EU/EEA residents. As no personal data is collected, there is no legal basis required for processing, and no Data Protection Officer is required.

EU residents retain all rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. As we hold no data, these rights are inherently fulfilled.

We do not transfer personal data to third countries because we do not transfer personal data at all.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app's features change. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
